Delhi Government Offices Implements 50% Work-From-Home Policy To Tackle Severe Air Pollution

Delhi: The Environment Minister of Delhi Gopal Rai has announced that the Delhi government will introduce a work-from-home policy for its employees in government offices to help reduce the effects of air pollution. Starting today, 50 percent of government employees will work from home.A meeting with officials will be held at 1 pm today at the Secretariat to discuss the implementation of this policy.

This decision comes as Delhi faces a severe air pollution crisis, with air quality reaching ‘severe-plus’ levels. The government hopes that by reducing commuting, it can help improve the city's air quality and reduce pollution.
