The women of the country are now winning in every field. This has been revealed in a recently released report of the Union Statistics Ministry. It has been told in this report that women are getting better job opportunities in various fields. This includes both private and public sectors.

This report of the Union Statistics Ministry is based on the data of the last 6 years, in which an increase in the number of women employees has been seen in different sectors. Here we are explaining in detail the figures given in this report.

'Intimidation' of women increased in the village

It has been said in the report of the Central Statistics Ministry that the work force of women in rural areas has increased in the last 6 years. The biggest reason behind this is that women contribute more in the economic activity of the village. Be it farming work or animal milk business. In the village all these works are mostly done by women.

Participation of working women increased

Women are driving everything from airplanes to buses and cars. Their participation in the development of the country is praiseworthy. According to the report of the Ministry of Statistics, the female labor force participation rate (FLFPR) in rural areas has increased by 23 percent, from 24.6 percent in 2017-18 to 47.6 percent in 2023-24. This simply means that women are contributing more to rural production.

Unemployment rate declined

Women of the country have started becoming self-reliant, due to which the unemployment rate has decreased from 5.6 percent in 2017-18 to 3.2 percent in 2023-24. Whereas female labor force participation (LFPR) has increased from 23.3 percent to 41.7 percent. Female Worker Population Ratio (WPR) has increased from 22 percent to 40.3 percent.

Women also took steps in education

In 2017-18, 34.5 percent women were post graduates. Which has increased to 39.6 percent in 2023-24. Similarly, the number of higher secondary pass outs has increased by 12.5 percent and the number of women receiving primary education has increased by 25.3 percent.
