In fact, in 2021, only 1,56,325 units of electric two wheeler were sold.
According to reports, OLA Electric, TVS, BAJAJ and Ather Energy have captured 83 percent of the auto sector. If we see how many scooters of which company were sold, then Ola Electric has sold 3,76,550 units in a year. With this, Ola Electric has emerged as the largest company in this sector, Ola Electric has captured 37 percent of the auto market. Whereas TVS has registered sales of 1,87,301 units, it has a share of 19 percent in the market.
Bajaj Auto has sold 1,57,528 units, with this it has become third in the market with a share of 16 percent. Ather Energy has been at fourth position in terms of sales. Ather has sold 1,07,350 units.
The objective of the government and auto companies regarding electric vehicles seems to be being fulfilled. There may be rapid growth in this segment in the coming years.
