Sanjay Nishad, the minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated his confidence in the NDA candidates running for nine assembly seats in the state’s by-elections on Wednesday, predicting that they will win by a “huge majority.”

“The candidates of the NDA are going to win with a huge majority,” he told ANI. Because of the promises we made, the public is choosing us. Others have banded together to halt the nation’s advancement.

“We must believe in ECI and democracy. “It is an autonomous organization,” Nishad said.

Interestingly, there are by-elections for nine seats in Uttar Pradesh: Meerapur, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Karhal, Sishamau, Phulpur, Katehari, and Majhawan.

The opposition is creating “drama” because of their “frustration and disappointment,” according to Uttar Pradesh Minister OP Rajbhar.

“The people has told us that they want to support the current administration. The opposition is causing the drama because they are frustrated and disappointed, and the public is aware that allowing them to continue for another two and a half years would be like putting a roadblock in the way of progress. The opposition is also aware that the public will not support them,” OP Rajbhar told the media.

“We are trying our best to win all nine seats,” he said.
Given that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) only won 36 of 80 seats in the most recent elections, the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh are crucial for the party.

As of 11 a.m., the voter turnout for the Uttar Pradesh by-elections was 26.18 percent in Meerapur, 20.41 percent in Majhwan, 19.18 percent in Khair, 17.68 percent in Phulpur, 28.54 percent in Kundarki, 20.71 percent in Karhal, 24.28 percent in Katehari, 12.87 percent in Ghaziabad, and 15.91 percent in Sishmau.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on voters to cast their ballots in huge numbers for the assembly elections earlier today.
