Mumbai Mumbai. Actor Manoj Bajpayee is all set to make a comeback with 'Dispatch', an entertaining investigative crime thriller that will premiere on December 13 on ZEE5. Directed by Kanu Bahl and produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies, the film is based on the journey of a crime journalist, Joy Bag, who gets entangled in a dangerous investigation while pursuing a breaking story. The film premiered at the MAMI Film Festival 2024 and was later screened at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The recently released trailer shows Bajpayee's character Joy Bag delving into the dirty world of media corruption and criminal underworld.

His quest to uncover a huge scam turns into a dangerous journey as unknown threats rise against him. The trailer hints at an exciting tale of truth versus survival. The story not only follows Bajpayee's character Joy Bagg as he undergoes a dangerous investigation but also explores his troubled marriage. Actress Shahana Goswami, who plays Manoj Bajpayee's wife in the upcoming crime thriller Dispatch, revealed about her role in the film while speaking to ANI.

As a father of a five-year-old child, I wondered what kind of world we were leaving for the next generation, and somewhere along the way, this thought inspired the story.
