In a recent twist of events, a bizarre video surfaced from Vaishali district, Bihar, wherein a man was found stealing eggs from the daily food stock of Mid-day meals, and what caught everyone's attention was that the man stealing eggs was none other than the principal of the school.
The viral video
In the viral video, Principal Suresh Sahni was found stealing eggs in a carry bag from the van delivering Mid-Day Meal (MDM) supplies before sending the food for the kids.According to a digital daily, it was mentioned that post this revelation, the state education department shared a show-cause notice that was issued to Principal Sahni, giving him 24 hours to explain his actions or face disciplinary action.
Action and reaction
As per a report published in another digital daily, an immediate action was taken against the principal; this was assured by Vaishali's District Education Officer (DEO). Birendra Narayan expressed that “Further disciplinary action will be initiated after receiving a reply from the principal.”

As reported by another daily, ‘the District Education Officer requested a written response from Principal Suresh Sahni and warned that action would be taken if no reply was received.’ What's more, following the incident, both villagers and students of the school warned the principal to avoid repeating his actions.
