Ingredients for Aloo Paratha

  • To make potato parathas, first take half a kilo of potatoes.
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 5-6 green chillies
  • half cup green coriander
  • half teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli
  • Take 1 spoon garam masala.
  • Oil and salt as required

Make potato parathas like this

1. To make delicious potato parathas, first boil the potatoes. – Peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well in a bowl. Now cover the mashed potatoes and keep them in the refrigerator for some time. – After this, take them out from the fridge and add chopped onion, green coriander, salt, garam masala powder and red chilli powder. Mix all these things well in potatoes. Finely chop the onion and mix it with potatoes.

2. Now mix flour for paratha. – First of all, put wheat flour in a big vessel. – Now slowly add water and knead the dough. Try to keep the dough soft, otherwise you may face difficulty in making parathas. -After kneading the dough, make a ball out of it and roll it into small rounds. – After this add one spoon of potato filling in the middle. Now close it from all sides and rotate the cylinder slowly from all sides.

3. Prepare the paratha by rolling it gently, otherwise the filling inside the paratha will come out. Press evenly and gently with the rolling pin on all sides. – Meanwhile, when the pan gets hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around and place the rolled paratha on it. – After about 30-40 seconds, turn the paratha and apply oil on the other side and spread it all over the paratha.

4. Now fry the paratha from both the sides till it becomes golden and crisp. After this, take out the paratha in a plate. Repeating the same process, prepare potato parathas with the remaining balls and spices. Now apply butter on hot paratha and serve it for breakfast with chutney or chutney. Apart from being delicious, this paratha is also not harmful for health.
