This phone is expected to be launched next year, which will be the company's thinnest flagship-grade smartphone till date. Now a tipster has leaked the specifications of the phone. The phone is said to be launched in the second quarter of 2025, the time when the company usually launches its Galaxy A-series and Fan Edition (FE) smartphones. Meanwhile, a Chinese leaker has also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 could be thicker than the slim iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to be launched next year.

Galaxy S25 Slim may launch in Q2 2025
Gadgets 360 in its report, citing details shared by tipster Debayan Roy, said that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will have a 6.6-inch screen. If this claim is true, it means that the company could equip the phone with the same display as the Galaxy S25 Plus model, which is expected to launch alongside the standard Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra models in January 2025. It is also being said that Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim may be launched in the second quarter of 2025. The tipster also revealed that the Galaxy S25 Slim will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which Qualcomm introduced in October. Given its slim form factor, it is said to have a large battery – the Galaxy S25 Slim could include a battery with a capacity of between 4700mAh and 5000mAh.

Can get 200 megapixel camera
According to the tipster, unlike the iPhone 17 Air, which is said to come with only a single rear camera, the Galaxy S25 Slim model may have a triple rear camera setup. The phone will have a 200-megapixel primary camera with an ISOCELL HP5 sensor and two 50-megapixel cameras with an ISOCELL JN5 sensor for ultrawide and telephoto (3.5x optical zoom) photography. Meanwhile, tipster Ice Universe, in a post on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, has claimed that the thickness of the Samsung Galaxy S25 could be less than 7mm. It is also thicker than the alleged iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to launch in the second half of 2025.

According to the tipster, Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 Slim in the second quarter of 2025 – which is around the same time it usually launches its Galaxy A-series or Galaxy FE smartphones. The company will reportedly launch the Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked launch event next month, which will be upgraded models of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
