Update: A police chase in Killeen, Texas on Saturday ended with a suspect driving a pickup truck into the JCPenney store at Killeen Mall. Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Bryan Washko said in a press conference later that the suspect was shot dead after the standoff at the mall. Five people have been injured in the incident, and they are aged between six to 67, Washko said. “The suspect drove through the doors and continued to travel through the JCPenney store, striking multiple people,” he said. “There’s people in here shopping for their families, their children, their friends, loved ones, and these kinds of things we don’t like to see, obviously, and we pray for their recovery.”
