Zara Dar, a YouTuber, unintentionally gained massive online fame after a video explaining her decision to quit her PhD program and pursue a career as a full-time adult content creator was reshared on X.

The clip, which catapulted her to overnight stardom, also made her a target for memes and online trolling.

The post, shared by an X user named Sensei Kraken Zero, highlighted Dar’s shift from academia to becoming an OnlyFans creator.

It went viral, with a Pakistani user, Farid Khan, making headlines for his unexpected praise of her career change.

Khan’s comment, “Proud moment for whole South Asia. Pakistani women are dominating the OnlyFans industry,” sparked mixed reactions, amassing over 400K views.

While some users found humor in the situation, others speculated the post might be a clever tactic to boost engagement.

Comments ranged from calling Khan’s remark outlandish to playful suggestions like, “Someone take Farid’s phone away!”

Amid the buzz, Dar clarified her background on X, distancing herself from the Pakistani influencer she was mistaken for. “With all due respect, I am not Pakistani. I’m American, born and raised, with Persian, Middle Eastern, Southern European, and Indian roots,” she wrote, putting the confusion to rest.
