Farmers can get boring done in their fields, government will give subsidy up to 80 percent, do this work before 15 January

Vaishali. These days the Bihar government is making arrangements for the farmers from seeds to irrigation in the field. Many schemes are being run to ensure that the farmers do not face any kind of problem. In Vaishali district, farmers can become self-reliant in terms of irrigation by taking advantage of the private tube well scheme under the Chief Minister's Seven Nischay Part 2. Farmers wishing to take advantage of the tube well scheme can apply online till January 15. The farmer applying under this scheme must have 40 decimals of land in his name.

Kotiwar farmers will get a subsidy

There is a provision to give a 50 per cent subsidy to the selected general category farmers of the private tube well scheme. At the same time,a  70 per cent subsidy will be given to the backward class andan  80 per cent subsidy will be given to the SC-ST category farmers. Before taking advantage of this scheme, farmers of all classes will have to first install boring at their own expense and after investigation,n they will be given the benefit of subsidy. With this rule of the government, no farmer will be able to take advantage of the subsidy without installing boring. At the time of applyingan , Aadhar card, identity card, residence certificate, agricultural land papers, land certificate, and current receipt will be required. Apart from this, a certificate of not having any boring on the plot, declaration of not taking financial assistance for tube well related to any other institution, affidavit, bank passbook, mobile number, and two passport-size photographs will be required.

Boring will have to be done for irrigation on this basis

Executive Engineer of the Minor Irrigation Department Amarendra Kumar said that to take advantage of the scheme, farmers will be given subsidies for tube wells below 4 to 6 inches in diameter for a depth of 15 to 70 meters. Photography along with the longitude of the place before and after boring will have to be done and uploaded on the web portal of the department. At the same time, farmers who want to become self-reliant in the field of irrigation can apply online for the Chief Minister Private Tube Well Scheme before January 15. In this scheme, subsidy amounts ranging from 50 to 80per centt will be given to the farmers.
