State-owned telecom provider BSNL which has been giving stiff competition to major private players including billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio and Sunil Mittals Bharti Airtel has rolled out another competitive tariff plan for its subscribers who prefer long-term validity plans.
Were talking about BSNLs new 395-day plan which offers unlimited high-speed data calling and more for 13 months instead of the usual 12-month plans from competitors at just Rs 2399. The new long-validity tariff plan from BSNL is aimed at users who do not want hassle of monthly recharges offering a long-term plan with added benefits to entice customers.
BSNL 395-day plan benefits
BSNLs 395-day plan offers 2GB of daily high-speed data (speed capped at 40kbps post 2GB) along with unlimited calling to any network for a period of 395 days or 13 months approximately. The plan also offers 100 free SMS per day and valued added services like Zing Music and BSNL Tunes.
The tariff plan is a true value-for-money offering from BSNL costing around Rs 6 per day compared to similar plans from private players like Jio Vi and Airtel which cost a lot more making it one of the most affordable tariff plans in the market/
BSNL revival
BSNL has witnessed a revival of late reaching several milestones such as adding over 65 lakh new subscribers to its expanding network in two months according to Department of Telecommunications (DoT). With its competitive pricing BSNL is now posing a stiff challenge to industry leaders such as Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio and Sunil Mittals Airtel
I see a huge opportunity in BSNL Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was recently quoted as saying while hailing government-owned telcos revival and expansion. Scindia said BSNL has made a good start by rapidly adding new users due to its customer-friendly tariff plans adding that the government is making efforts to provide better network connectivity to BSNL users.
Recently BSNL also launched a competitive broadband plan to compete with Jio Fiber and Airtel Xstream broadband services offering a whopping 5000GB or 5TB of high-speed data at blazing speeds of 300Mbps beyond which internet speed will be capped at a respectable 30Mbps.
Additionally the plan also offers users free subscriptions to several top OTT apps including Disney+ Hotstar Lions Gate Voot Sony Live Premium Zee5 Premium Hungama as well as Shemaroo Me and Yupp TV.
