UP Lekhpal Vacancy 2025: There is a great opportunity for the youth looking for a government job in Uttar Pradesh to become a Lekhpal. The Revenue Council has sent a proposal to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) to fill 7994 vacant posts of Lekhpal. The application process may start in January
According to sources, the advertisement for Lekhpal recruitment will be released in the month of January and the application process will also start from January. But it is not yet clear whether this recruitment will come with PET or without PET.
The commission released the result after shortlisting
All the candidates applying in the ongoing recruitment for 1828 posts of Assistant Accountant and Accountant and 417 posts of Junior Analyst Food in the state will be able to appear in the written examination. The Subordinate Services Selection Commission released the results of the shortlisted candidates on Tuesday (24 December).
Commission Secretary Avnish Saxena said that 5169 candidates have been shortlisted for Assistant Accountant and Accountant Recruitment and 4746 candidates for Junior Analyst Food. Candidates can check their results on the commission's website. He said that the date schedule of the examination for the main examination, and information about fee submission will be given separately on the website.
Eligibility Criteria for Lekhpal Recruitment
To apply for UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2024, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the 12th class. Along with this, it is also mandatory for the candidate to pass UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test). Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination of Lekhpal based on PET score.
Age Limit: The minimum age for general category candidates has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 40 years. At the same time, candidates of the OBC category will get 3 years of age relaxation, while candidates of the SC/ST category will be given 5 years of age relaxation.
The selection process of Lekhpal recruitment
Candidates who are successful in PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) will be eligible for the main examination. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination in the main examination. A merit list of finally selected candidates will be prepared and accordingly they will be appointed to the post of Lekhpal.
