Mau: Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an amount of Rs 2000 is being given every year on the account of farmers. If you are also taking advantage of this scheme, then you have to do important work, which can prove to be very important for you. If you have not yet registered in the Farmer Registry, then get it done as soon as possible. Without this, you may be deprived of this scheme. Keep in mind, that the last date for registration is 31 December 2024, and as soon as this date comes, you may be deprived of the benefits of the scheme.
Why is registration in the Farmer Registry necessary?
Mau's Additional District Magistrate Satyapriya Singh said that it is necessary for farmers to register in the Farmer Registry to take full advantage of the government schemes. This registration can be done till 31 December 2024. By registering, farmers will get the benefit of not only Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi but also other government schemes.
Register by any means.
Farmers can now register both online and offline. Farmers can register themselves through upfr.agristack.gov.in portal and Farmer Registry UP mobile application. Apart from this, registration can also be done by visiting Jan Seva Kendra (CSC) and paying the prescribed fee. To register at Jan Seva Kendra, farmers will have to take a copy of Khatauni, family ID number, Aadhar card, and mobile number linked to Aadhar.
E-KYC is also necessary
Apart from this, farmers will also have to get their e-KYC done to get the next installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Additional District Magistrate said that a total of 319245 farmers in the district are taking advantage of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, out of which 85% of the farmers have got e-KYC done. The remaining farmers have also appealed to get e-KYC done so that they can get the next installment of the scheme.
What information will be updated through Farmer Registry?
Under the Farmer Registry, the farmer's name, father's name, Gata number of the owned land, status of co-shared person, mobile number, Aadhaar number and e-KYC details will be recorded. Apart from this, if there is a transfer of ownership (such as inheritance or sale deed) of a farmer, then this registry will be automatically updated. The Additional District Magistrate has appealed to the farmers to get Farmer Registry and e-KYC done within the stipulated time limit. If this is not done, they will be deprived of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
