Speculations of a romantic relationship between Chinese-American actress Liu Yifei and actor Li Xian, who is four years her junior, have been fueled by their recent appearance at a party together.

Citing Swamp, Znews reported that the party, hosted by Vogue China’s editor-in-chief Rocco Liu, saw the two actors attending and taking a group photo with several other guests. In the photo, Liu was noted for her simple yet chic black attire, while Li opted for a more casual look.

This appearance has further fueled speculations of a romantic connection between them, rumors of which began when they co-starred in the 2023 drama series “Meet Yourself.” Their apparent closeness during and after the series has continued to spark speculation.

In October, a paparazzi video allegedly showing Liu entering a car known to be used by Li brought these rumors to widespread attention.

Liu, 37, was born in China and moved to the U.S. at age 10 following her parents’ divorce. She later became a U.S. citizen but returned to China to pursue her entertainment career.

She first gained fame from the 2003 TV series “The Story of a Noble Family” and has since made a significant impact in both Chinese and Hollywood cinemas. In 2009, she was named one of the New Four Dan actresses, marking her as one of the top actresses in China.

Liu’s dating history includes a confirmed relationship with South Korean actor Song Seung Heon, whom she met during the production of the 2014 Chinese romantic film “The Third Way of Love.” They confirmed their relationship in 2015 but announced a breakup in 2018 due to busy schedules.

Li, 33, began his career with a minor role in the 2012 film “Feng Shui” and achieved stardom with his role in the 2019 esports drama “Go Go Squid!”
