BJP leader and former West Delhi MP Parvesh Verma is continuously attacking the Aam Aadmi Party. Meanwhile, on Friday, a BJP leader made a big claim about AAP supremo and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He said that Arvind Kejriwal can change his seat in the upcoming assembly elections. He cannot contest elections from New Delhi seat.
Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has been MLA from New Delhi seat since 2013. At the same time, he is AAP's candidate from the same seat for the fourth consecutive time in the 2025 assembly elections. Pravesh Verma has taken a dig at former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said, 'Please do not run away from New Delhi Assembly.' This reaction of the BJP leader has come at a time when the Aam Aadmi Party has accused him of distributing money to women in exchange for votes before the elections.
Former Delhi MP Pravesh Verma has attacked Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal through a post on his ex. He wrote, 'Some sources have just told me that Arvind Kejriwal can change the seat. But I have only one thing to say to Kejriwal ji - please do not run away from New Delhi Assembly and contest the elections with the dignity of democracy. At present there has been no response from your side on this.
Recently, Aam Aadmi Party had accused Pravesh Verma of distributing money to women in exchange for votes at his house before the assembly elections. AAP MP Sanjay Singh had also filed a complaint against Pravesh Verma in ED regarding this. Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh says that this is a direct case of money laundering but no action is being taken on it. However, Pravesh Verma says that Arvind Kejriwal is facing problems in helping the poor.
At the same time, in an interview given to a TV, BJP leader Pravesh Verma called AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal a liar. He said that Arvind Kejriwal is an expert in lying. Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana is fake. The Ministry of Women and Child Development of Delhi Government itself has said this by issuing a public notice. If there was such a scheme then first a plan would have been made for it, then it would have been passed in the cabinet and the budget would have been allocated, but they did not do anything like that.
He said that Arvind Kejriwal had promised to deposit Rs 1000 in the bank account of every woman if the government is formed in Punjab. But it has been 3 years since the government was formed and till now not a single woman has received a single penny. If he wants to give money to women then first give it to the women of Punjab and then give money to the women of Delhi, instead of making them fill the forms, why is he saying that he will give it after winning the elections. If he had done some work in 11 years, he would not have needed to make false promises today.
