The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani gang is returning once again in 2025! The romantic drama starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur will be re-releasing in India on January 3, 2025. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions confirmed the news on social media on Friday (December 27).

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani re-release Sharing the announcement, Dharma Productions wrote on Instagram, “We are all screaming because #YehJawaaniHaiDeewani is re-releasing on 3rd January! Save the date!”

The film follows the lives of four friends from teenage to adulthood. The Ayan Mukerji directorial spans a timeline of 8 years exploring the journey of their friendship and self-discovery. Apart from Ranbir, Deepika, Kalki and Aditya, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani starred Kunaal Roy Kapur, Tanvi Azmi, Dolly Ahluwalia, Evelyn Sharma, Poorna Jagannathan and late legendary actor Farooq Sheikh. In an earlier virtual chat with fans, Ranbir spoke about Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’s sequel and said, “I think Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani would make a good sequel... Ayan also had a very nice story, I remember, but then he went into this Brahmastra journey. But, never say never. He might make it after a couple of years. I think the story will be 10 years forward where Bunny, Naina, Avi and Aditi, where they are in their lives. I think it’ll be quite interesting and nice to explore those characters.”
