In the Melbourne Test, Australia scored 474 runs against India in the first innings. Top order and middle order batsmen showed strong performance. Batsmen like Sam Constants, Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne scored tremendous half centuries. Whereas Steve Smith scored a century. But Travis Head, who proved to be the biggest threat to India in this series, was out on zero. Head, who was a flop in batting, however, did something while fielding which caught the attention of even the commentators. After a shot by Washington Sundar, Head was seen screaming on the field itself.
A funny incident happened during the Indian innings. Washington Sundar was on strike and Nathan Lyon was bowling. Sundar played a shot and the ball hit the leg of Head who was fielding nearby. As soon as the ball hit, he started groaning with head pain. He started limping and was seen jumping on the field. After this, Head was also seen shouting. Cricket Australia has shared the video of this funny incident on its Instagram account. After Head's scream, the commentators also started laughing.

Sundar played a quick shot on Lion's ball but even after the ball was hit, nothing much happened to the head. Nor did he get any injury. In fact he was fielding wearing a head pad. Due to this, he did not have to face any kind of injury even after being hit by the ball.
Australia's top and middle order batsmen batted brilliantly but Travis Head, the highest run scorer in this series, could not even open his account in the first innings of the Melbourne Test. Head has scored two brilliant centuries in this series. He played innings of 140 runs in Adelaide and 152 runs in Gabba. With the help of two centuries, he has scored 409 runs so far. If his bat had worked in Melbourne, these runs could have increased further. But he was bowled at zero by India's legendary bowler Jasprit Bumrah.
