New Delhi: Marathi actress Urmila Kothare is injured after meeting with a car accident. Her car hit two metro workers, one died on the spot and the other was injured seriously. The incident happened in Mumbai’s Kandivali, according to police. According to police officials, the actress escaped with minor injuries, as reported by PTI.

According to reports, Urmila Kothare was returning from work when the accident happened near the Poisar Metro station after midnight. Police told ABP Majha that the actress was saved due to the timely deployment of the airbags in the car. The police have now registered a cast against the driver at the Samata Nagar Police Station and the investigation in the case has already begun. Police have not yet revealed about the injuries sustained by the other metro worker or the driver neither there is any update about the charges filed against the driver.
