BBFS Delhi won the Under-15 Bhaichung Bhutia Champions Cup in Nashik on the concluding day on Sunday. BBFS Noida emerged the runners up. BBFS Barnes (Nashik) won the championship in the Under-13 category while BBFS Noida was the runners up. The tournament managed by Bhaichung Bhutia Football School was streamed live on SportVot in association with FPJ.

In a closely contested final league match on Sunday, Barnes (NSK) edged out Bangalore with a narrow 1-0 victory. Despite Bangalore failing to register a single shot, Barnes capitalized on their sole shot on target to secure the win. In a competitive U-13 match, Delhi edged past Bangalore with a narrow 1-0 victory. Noida capitalised on two chances to defeat Hyderabad 2-0 in other match. In an exciting U-13 match, Noida defeated Delhi 2-1 in a closely fought contest. Barnes (NSK) secured a 2-1 victory over Hyderabad. Barnes made the most of their two shots on target, converting both into goals, while Hyderabad managed just one shot on target, which resulted in their only goal.

In a goalless U-15 match, Noida and Delhi were evenly matched, with both teams sharing 50% possession and failing to register any shots or shots on target. However, the draw was enough for Delhi team to lift the U-15 title in the league tournament. In a tightly contested match, Barnes (NSK) and Bangalore played to a 1-1. Vande Mataram Krida Mandal defeated Sangharsh Krida Mandal 34-17 to win the Atal Bihari Kabaddi Tournament Kandivali (Atal Khel Mahotsav). Tanavi Parab from Sangharsh was declared the best raider while Prasita Panhalkar from Vande Mataram won the best defender award. Riya Nimbalkar of Vande Mataram won the best player of the tournament.

Thane City defeated Mumbai City 42-30 in the 51st Kumar & kumari Gut Rajya Ajinkyapad Nivad Chachni Kabaddi Spardha 2024in Sangalwadi, Sangli on Sunday. Aarti Shelke was the standout performer for Thane City. The state-level tournament organized by the Maharashtra Kabaddi Association brings together talented players from across the state, giving them a chance to showcase their skills. The winners of this tournament earn the opportunity to represent Maharashtra at the national level, making it a crucial event for young Kabaddi players aiming to reach greater heights in the sport.
