In view of the congestion in Lucknow on the occasion of New Year 2025 from 5 pm on 31st December, traffic movement has been banned on many roads. Some routes have been diverted. This traffic rule will come into effect from 5 pm on December 31 and will continue till the end of the New Year program. If any kind of medical emergency arises, the vehicle will be sent through the restricted route instead of the alternative route. Traffic police can allow ambulance, fire service, school vehicles, hearse etc. to go through restricted routes. 1. To improve the traffic system on the occasion of arrival of New Year-2025, traffic diversion has been done as per requirement from 5 pm on December 31, 2024 till the end of the program. The traffic arrangement will be like this:-
2. The traffic coming from Mahanagar/Gomti Nagar/Dainik Jagran intersection will be able to go towards Hazratganj intersection from Sikanderbagh intersection. In special circumstances, if diverted from Sikanderbagh intersection, this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Saharaganj Tiraha and Chiraiyajheel Tiraha.
3. From Saharaganj Tiraha, no traffic will be able to go towards Dunlap Tiraha/Police Commissioner's residence/Alka Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Sikanderbagh intersection or Chiraiyajheel Tiraha.
4. No traffic from Dunlap Tiraha/Police Commissioner's residence will be able to go towards St. Francis/Back of India/Alka Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Saharaganj/Sapru Marg.
5. No traffic from Hazratganj intersection will be able to go towards Parivartan Chowk/Subhash intersection via Alka Tiraha or Mayfair Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Sapru Marg Tiraha to left Dunlap Tiraha, from Saharaganj Tiraha to left Chiraiyajheel Tiraha, Sankalp Vatika. . Only vehicles going to Multilabel Parking, Hazratganj will be able to go from Multilabel Parking Ingate to Multilabel Parking.
6. Traffic will not be able to go from Charbagh towards Parivartan Chowk via Hazratganj intersection, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination from Hussainganj intersection via left Odeon Cinema (Dr. Souza Road), Kaiserbagh.
7. Any traffic coming from Aliganj or Mahanagar/Kaiserbagh via Parivartan Chowk will not be able to go towards Mayfair Tiraha, Hazratganj intersection ahead of K.D. Singh Babu Stadium/Hindi Sansthan Tiraha, rather this traffic will turn left from Stadium Tiraha and go towards Chiraiyajheel Tiraha, Sankalp Vatika/Sikander Bagh. Or you can reach your destination via Parivartan Chowk, Safed Baradari via Kaiserbagh.
8. Vehicles coming towards Balmiki Tiraha from Lalbagh/Caper Road will not be able to go right from Balmiki Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination by going left from Balmiki Tiraha towards DM residence, Press Club, Parivartat Chowk.
9. No traffic from Naval Kishore Road, Leela Talkies Tiraha will be able to go towards Bank of India Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to go towards its destination via Aaykar Bhawan Tiraha/St. Lawrence Colony.
10. No traffic from Lalbagh intersection will be able to go towards Mayfair/Alka intersection, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Camper Road/Capital intersection.

Roadways/city buses coming from the metropolitan side will not be able to go towards Sikanderbagh intersection, Hazratganj intersection, but the above mentioned roadways/city buses will go to their destination from Sankalp Vatika intersection via Baikunthdham intersection, Gandhi Setu (1090) intersection, Golf Club intersection, Bandariabagh intersection. Will be able to go to.

Roadways buses coming to and from Kaiserbagh bus stand from Ayodhya Road will not be able to go towards Sikanderbagh intersection, Hazratganj intersection, rather these buses will ply from PNT (Balu Adda) intersection to the right, Baikunth Dham intersection to the left, Sankalp Vatika Overbridge, Laxman Mela Bandha Chiraiyajheel intersection. From right Motimahal Tiraha, Clark Avadh Tiraha, CDRI will be able to reach its destination via Tiraha.
13. The city bus coming from Kamta side will not be able to go from Gandhi Setu (1090) intersection towards Sikanderbagh intersection, Hazratganj intersection, rather it will be able to go directly from Gandhi Setu (1090) intersection to its destination via Golf Club intersection, Bandariabagh intersection.
14. Roadways/city buses coming towards Hazratganj from Charbagh side will be able to reach their destination via KKC Tiraha via Kuwar Jagdish intersection, Cantt or via Hussainganj intersection to Kaiserbagh or from Royal Hotel (Bapu Bhawan) intersection via DSO intersection.
15. Abdul Hameed Square to M.B. Normal traffic will not be able to go through Club, Nehru Square, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Atal Road via Gurudwara Square Cantt.
16. The traffic coming from Shaheed Path to Plasio will be restricted from Ekana Ramp and Shaheed Path Ramp in front of Tenderpalm, rather this traffic will be able to come down from Ahimamau Ramp, move about 2 km further on the left Sultanpur Road, turn left from HCL Tiraha and go towards Plasio Mall. Return will be via Tenderpalm Ramp.
