To Role: Consuming sesame seeds is considered very beneficial in cold weather. Because its nature is hot and it also gives warmth to your body in a natural way. Many types of sweet dishes are made from sesame seeds like sesame laddu, sesame gajak, tilli ki papdi and other similar sweets.

Today we are going to tell you the recipe of sesame roll. This looks very tasty. So this time during Sankranti you can make sesame roll along with sesame laddu. So let's know its recipe.

Material

  • White sesame seeds – 3 cups
  • Rose water – 1 tablespoon
  • Corn syrup – one and a half cups
  • Sugar – 3 cups
  • Dry fruits – 1/2 cup
  • Desi Ghee – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Water – one and a half cups

Method (Till Roll)

1-To make sesame roll, first take a pan and add sesame seeds in it and roast it. Roast the sesame seeds until their color becomes light golden.

2- After this, take out the sesame seeds in a bowl. Now add sugar in the pan and add about one and a half cup of water in it.

3- After this add corn syrup and salt and boil it well. This mixture has to be allowed to boil until it becomes thick.

4- After this add rose water and ghee and mix it well. Now turn off the gas flame and keep it to cool.

5- Now apply some ghee on both your palms, grease them and mix the prepared thick mixture well with your hands.

6- After this, divide this mixture in equal proportions. Now stuff each part with dry fruits and roasted sesame seeds. Now roll them. After rolling, apply sesame seeds on it also. Now tasty sesame rolls are ready.
