Filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap has once again targeted the Hindi film industry. In a recent interview, Anurag said that Bollywood people do not have the brain to make a film like 'Pushpa'. Allu Arjun starrer Telugu film 'Pushpa 2' is India's highest grossing film in the year 2024.

While talking to Hollywood Reporter India, Anurag Kashyap said that the Hindi film industry no longer wants to take risks. He said, “They don't understand anything. He can't even make a flower. He can't make it because he doesn't have the brain to make a film. They don't even understand what filmmaking is. Only Sukumar can make Pushpa.”

Targeting those who created the universe of films

Taking his point forward, Anurag Kashyap says, “In the South they invest in filmmakers and empower them to make films. Here everyone is trying to create a universe. Do they understand their universe and how small they are in it? This is arrogance. When you create the universe you think you are God.”
