GST Collection: 2024 has been better for the Indian economy, the government has received a total of Rs 21 lakh 51 thousand crore from GST collection in the months from January to December. The government has earned slightly less from GST in the month of December as compared to November. Where GST collection in November was Rs 1.82 lakh crore. Whereas in December it decreased to Rs 1.77 lakh crore.

Let us tell you that GST collection in November increased by 8.5 percent to Rs 1.82 lakh crore. According to Finance Ministry data, the collection for the April-December period is Rs 16.34 lakh crore. At the same time, gross GST collection in October increased by 9 percent to more than Rs 1.87 lakh crore, which is the second highest collection till date due to increase in domestic sales and better compliance.
