Gladiator 2 OTT Release Date: Ridley Scott’s directorial Gladiator II, which is the sequel to his 2000 release classic historical epic Gladiator, is finally available for online viewing. Those who missed the chance to enjoy this movie can now stream it on Amazon Prime Videowhere the actioner is available for rent for Rs 389.

About the Movie

Boasting Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal as its main actors, Gladiator 2, prepared on a massive budget of USD 310 million (approx) premiered in theaters in November 2024. Receiving a moderate reception from the cinegoers, the film, by the end of its theatrical run, managed to amass a decent USD 434 million (Approx) from the ticket windows to emerge as a decent affair at the Box Office.

However, unlike its first part, the historical epic concluded its theatrical journey without achieving the status of a blockbuster hit. It will now be interesting to see how the movie fares with the fans on OTT in the coming days.

Plot of the Film

Gladiator 2’s story unfolds about 16 years after the events of Gladiator 1. It follows the life of Rome’s Exiled prince Lucius Verus Aurelius who is now a prisoner of war and often participates in several brutal combats under the name of gladiator Hanno. Meanhwile, Lucius trailer Macrinus is on a secret mission to bring down the governance of Geta and Caracalla, two of the most corrupt kings Rome has ever seen.
