Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapoor, the film is based on India’s first and deadliest airstrike, combining action, patriotism and passion.
Sara’s role is expected to bring emotional depth and a compelling storyline making her character the focal point of attention.
The movie, featuring actors like Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar and debutant Veer Pahariya is set to release on January 24, 2025 marking a significant addition to Sara’s filmography.
Another highly anticipated movie on Sara’s list is Metro In Dino directed by Anurag Basu.
Initially scheduled for a November 29, 2024 release, the film is now expected to hit theaters this year.
The ensemble cast includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
The romantic drama scored by Pritam is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu and Tani Basu.
The anthology film serves as a follow-up to Basu’s 2007 movie Life in a Metro which explored human relationships and urban complexities.
In this sequel, Sara represents the modern era alongside a stellar cast reflecting the nuances of urban life.
The third and final project on Sara’s list remains untitled but is rumored to be a spy comedy featuring Ayushmann Khurrana.
Directed by Akash Khurana, the film is reportedly being produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions banner.
While details about the movie are scarce, it is said to blend humor and action showcasing Sara’s versatility once again.
