Anyone can also use their phone's SMS service to check the balance of the Provident Fund. One can easily check their Provident Fund balance by texting through a feature phone or smartphone.
From their phone, they have to type EPFOHO UAN and send it to 7738299899. This can be found in 12 other languages ​​including English. The registered mobile number has to be used to send the message. Also, their UAN number must be active.
Those who have a smartphone can check their EPF balance through the app. EPF balance can be viewed through the Umang app. For this, first open the Umang app and click on EPFO. Then click on Employee Centric Services. Then click on View Passbook. Click on View Passbook and enter the UAN and passbook. After that, an OTP will come to their registered mobile number.
