Minister Ponnam, who met with activists in Koheda, Siddipet district, gave key information on ration cards. He said that the exercise for granting new ration cards is currently underway in the state of Telangana. He advised those who have not yet applied for ration cards to apply at their mandal offices.
He clarified that ration cards will be issued to those eligible on the basis of public administration applications. Since the previous government did not take much action on the granting of ration cards, newly separated families and those who got married are eagerly waiting for new cards. In this context, the latest update on the granting of ration cards is creating excitement among the people.
The Minister reminded that the Telangana government has allocated Rs. 30 thousand crores for agriculture and farmer welfare. Similarly, he clarified that "Indiramma Indlu" will be sanctioned to all those who are eligible. The minister revealed that a 250-bed hospital has been sanctioned in his constituency Husnabad and construction work will begin soon. Minister Ponnam said that the people are satisfied with the one-year rule of the Congress government. He said that the Congress party is committed to continuing this enthusiasm in the coming days as well.
