Last year we witnessed several big-budget movies that set new benchmarks in Indian cinema with their extravagant production designs star-studded casts and grand storytelling. These films pushed the boundaries of filmmaking. In 2025 audiences can expect the same scale of massive movies starting with one releasing in January. This political action-thriller directed by S. Shankar has been made on a staggering budget of Rs 450 crore. The production of its songs has taken extravagance to another level. It was recently revealed that the director spent Rs 75 crore to shoot four songs for the film. While S. Shankar is known for spending lavishly on music sequences the internet was abuzz with questions about why such a huge amount was necessary. To clarify the film’s music label Saregama released a detailed breakdown of the expenses. We are talking about Game Changer movie starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. Game Changers four songs - Jaragandi Raa Macha Macha Naanaa Hyraanaa and Dhops cost is around Rs 75 crore. According to the team Jaragandi which Prabhu Deva choreographed featured 600 dancers. The song was shot over 13 days on a massive 70-foot village set and the costumes were eco-friendly and made of jute. Another song Raa Macha Macha choreographed by Ganesh Acharya featured 1000 dancers and is a ‘tribute to folk dance’ apart from ‘celebrating India’s rich cultural diversity’. The makers claim Naanaa Hyraanaa is the first Indian song to be shot with an infrared camera. The song was shot in New Zealand. As for Dhop the song choreographed by Jani Master features 100 Russian dancers and was completed in 8 days. The Telugu movie releasing on January 10 will have Ram Charans dual role alongside Kiara Advani Anjali Samuthirakani S. J. Suryah Srikanth Prakash Raj and Sunil in supporting roles.
