Before making travel plans to Mexico, Jaiswal advised travelers to review all cautions.

“This is to notify Indian tourists visiting Mexico that in order to avoid inconvenience while there, they must abide by all applicable laws and rules or keep these nations in mind. Therefore, I would strongly advise Indian nationals who want to visit Mexico to review these travel warnings before making travel plans,” he added.

Speaking about the difficulties Indians have when they go to Mexico, Jaiswal said that Indians need to bring the necessary paperwork with them.

“A number of Indian nationals with Visa has gone to Mexico and they have faced problems for lack of documentation or lack of satisfactory answers to immigration authorities,” Jaiswal said.

Mexico has been adhering to stringent immigration regulations and inspections at the border immigration entrance points, according to a statement released by the Indian Embassy in Rome. When they arrive in Mexico, many Indian nationals are subject to stringent immigration screenings.

The troubled travelers are suffering much and losing a lot of money as a consequence of being held for many days in Mexican airports before being sent to India. Further anxiety results from the imprisoned individuals’ inability to be contacted by anybody, including their friends and relatives, due to the confiscation of their cell phones.

Indian travelers are subject to considerably more stringent inspection by the Mexican Immigration Authorities, and the likelihood of detention or deportation is significantly greater when they arrive from third countries or have visas other than Mexican ones.

“Indian nationals are hereby advised to keep the above in mind before undertaking any kind of travel to Mexico, so as to avoid unpleasant and unfortunate incidents at the Immigration entry points in Mexico,” said the statement.
