CBSE Board Exam 2025 Major Changes: The board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have started. Competency-based questions
CBSE has been including competency-based questions in the 10th, and 12th board exams since last year. Competency-based questions are designed to evaluate the theoretical knowledge of students so that they can apply it in real life. These questions will form a major part of the class 12 board exams in 2025.
Increased importance of internal assessment
To reduce the tension and pressure of board exams, CBSE has increased internal assistance this year.
Internal assistance will now be 40% of the total marks. The remaining 60% will be based on the final board examinations. Internal assistance includes projects, tests, and assignments.
75% attendance is mandatory
If students want to pass the CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Board Exam 2025, then they must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance.
