Few people successfully transform their small businesses into large ventures and Bhavin Parikh is one such example. Parikh turned his fathers shirt shop into a billion-dollar company.
Bhavin started Globe Textile at the age of 22 in 2011 and later transformed his father’s retail business into a public company. Today the company is valued at Rs 431 crore. Bhavin’s father Suryakant Parikh ran a shop called Malik Stores.
Bhavin’s father sold Henry Hill and Custom Colour brand shirts and Suryakant also supplied shirts to other shopkeepers in Ahmedabad. However Bhavin decided to take the business further. With his dedication and hard work he successfully transformed the shop into a thriving company.
He started his business in a 1000 sq ft unit in Ahmedabad’s Khokhra with just five employees. Today his clientele includes major names such as Salman Khan’s Being Human Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Spiker John Players Inditex Splash and Landmark Group.
Today Bhavin is the CEO of Globe Textiles while Bhavik Parikh and Nilay Vora serve as the Managing Director and Director respectively.
