Joel Dommett halted the latest episode of The Masked Singer UK to share a shock announcement which left the studio audience booing him.
The wacky guessing game returned for its sixth series on Saturday (January 4) night with a brand new bunch of characters hoping to be crowned champion.
Teeth, Snail, Tattoo, Kingfisher, Spaghetti Bolognese and Dressed Crab all performed for celebrity detectives Mo Gilligan, , newcomer and Jonathan Ross as well as special guest Mo Farah.
At the end of all the performances, the studio audience voted for who they'd like to see go through to the next stage of the competition. Spag Bol and Teeth received the least amount of votes and found themselves in the dreaded bottom two.

The panel decided to save Teeth meaning that Spag Bol became the first celebrity to reveal their true identity by taking off their mask. Before the unveiling, Mo, Davina, Jonathan, Mo Farah and Maya all predicted who'd be in the costume.
With the likes Ruby Wax, Julia Badbury, Judy Murray, , Anti Rani being guessed, they couldn't wait to find out who it could be.
Joel said: "I suppose there's only one way to find out" before starting the traditional "take it off" chant however, in a shock twist, the presenter later ran onto the stage to stop the cheers as Spag Bol was about to take off their mask.
He explained: "Wait, wait wait. wait a second. Hold up, hold up. There's only one way to find out who's behind the mask and apparently it's to come back tomorrow night."
Joel's announcement left the panel of detectives open-mouthed and studio audience could be heard booing the host. Before the credits rolled, Joel joked: "I'll be honest, I quite like being the villain" before adding: "Make sure you join us tomorrow night for the second part of our mega masked weekend when we'll have six more incredible performances and not one but two unmaskings, including this one right here. Give it up for Spag Bol everybody. We'll see you again tomorrow, goodbye"
The jaw-dropping cliffhanger left viewers at home fuming, with one person writing on social media: "That’s ridiculous that we have to wait till tomorrow to see who it is."
Another added: "This show is not good enough to warrant a 24 hour cliffhanger." A third moaned: While a fourth posted: "So we've wasted our time watching this?"
Fans will have to tune in on Sunday night to find out who is behind the Spag Bol disguise and Bush, Pufferfish, Pegasus, Wolf, Toad in the Hole and Bear will all take to the stage for the first time.
