After a break of 8 years, the CID team has once again entered TV. The CID team is incomplete without the 'door breaker' Daya. This dialogue 'Daya Darwaza Todo' became so famous that Rohit Shetty also cast this dialogue and the 'Daya' for which this dialogue was written in his film 'Singham Again'. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with TV9 Hindi Digital, actor Dayanand Shetty said that after CID, it has become a responsibility for him to decide what kind of character he will play in the future.
Actor Dayanand Shetty, who played the role of Senior Inspector Daya in CID, said, “Because of this show, now the responsibility increases while working in other projects. Because there are more children in the audience of CID and this show also talks about moral values. Now seeing this, one thing has settled in the minds of the people and that is that CID considers these things as right and these things as wrong. Therefore, we have a responsibility that even if we are playing a negative character in the film, we have to take care that we do not do anything disgusting through this character.
Ahead Dayanand Shetty He said, “I don't want to do such a character that the children who see me in CID will feel bad or think that these people do wrong things. That's why I play such characters which are respectable. Even if he is a negative character, he may be challenging, but his attitude should not be obscene or vulgar or cheap. The mind and heart of children are very sensitive and hence, they accept as truth only what they see in front of them. “Wrong characters easily ‘brain wash’ their minds.”
Ahead CID Inspector Daya said, “That's why I always try to perform the right character. There are children at home too. They also have expectations from me. I believe that there should not be any such project which my daughter would feel embarrassed or awkward in watching. That's why I always choose any project with great responsibility.”
