The fourth installment of Shark Tank India will start streaming from January 6 with new ‘sharks’ joining the panel. The popular show will feature Kunal Bahl of Snapdeal. The upcoming season promises a mix of entrepreneurs from different backgrounds.

The highlights of this seasoninclude popular YouTuber Gaurav Taneja who will pitch his whey protein brand. They claimed that they generated a sale of INR 1 crore within an hour.

Netflix Indiawill release the first Indian web series of 2025on January 10. Black Warrant stars Zahan Kapoor supported by Rahul Bhat, Paramvir Singh Cheema, Anurag Thakur, Sidhant Gupta, and special appearances by Rajshri Deshpande, Tota Roy Chaudhary, and Rajendra Gupta.

Vikramaditya Motwane’s Black Warrant is set within India’s infamous prison Tihar Jail. It explores crime, punishment, and redemption within one of the most notorious prisonsin the country. The series weaves a gripping depiction of grim life behind the bars through the perspective of rookie jailer, Sunil Gupta.

Comedy legend Gabriel Iglesias is back on Netflix with his fourth comedy special following the success of 2022’s Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy. It is filmed at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and is directed by Manny Rodriguez. The Netflix specialpromises to showcase Iglesias’ signature humour and charm.

For the unversed, Iglesias has established himself as a legend in the world of comedy. With more than 2 billion views on YouTube and a social media following exceeding 34.6 million fans, Iglesias is one of the most watched comedians globally.

4. ‘Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action’ (January 7, Netflix)

Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action delves into the rise and fall of one of the most outrageous talk shows of the 90s, Jerry Springer Show. With a long runtime of 27 seasons, the controversial talk show was hosted by late former Cincinnati mayor and local news anchor Jerry Springer.

After the success of Unica, Ilary Blasi is returning with this Netflix series in which she explores the new chapter in her life, with friends and family. She will try new experiences, go public with her new boyfriend and relive the consequences of her troubled divorce from football player Francesco Totti.

In Unica, Ilary shared the painful story of her separation from her husband. A year later, she is ready to share excerpts of her ‘new’ life with the audience.

6. ‘The Upshaws’ Season 6 (January 9, Netflix)

The sixth season of The Upshaws will start streaming from January second week. The series stars Sykes, Mike Epps, Kim Fields, Diamond Lyons, Khali Spraggins, Journey Christine, and Jermelle Simon. The sitcom follows an African-American working class family from Indiana who harbour the American dream but are too busy struggling to make ends meet.

The show is based on their daily hustles whilst keeping their dream alive. The series could be a comforting and lighthearted watch for a lazy weekend.

7. ‘The Sabarmati Report’ (January 10, Zee5)

The Sabarmati Reportfeatures Vikrant Masseyin the lead. Even though the movie received negative reviews, it became a box office bomb owing to its thought-provoking plot. It also stars Raashii Khanna and Riddhi Dogra in key roles. The movie is based on the Godhra train burning incident that occurred on February 27, 2002, involving the Sabarmati Express train. The movie was released in November 2024 after a lot of delays.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised The Sabarmati Report, stating that the truth is emerging in a way the public can access, and a false narrative can only last for so long before the facts prevail.

8. ‘Goosebumps: The Vanishing’ (January 10, Disney+ Hotstar)

The supernatural horror series, featuring David Schwimmer, is back with its second installment. It follows Anthony Brewer, played by David Schwimmer. The twins, played by Jayden Bartels and Sam McCarthy, unearth a bunch of strange events in the second season. The show will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu.

9. ‘Ad Vitam’ (January 10, Netflix)

The thriller, featuring Guillaume Canet, Stéphane Caillard and Nassim Lyes, pulls the audience into a nail-biting investigation rife with drama, action and state secrets. As he strives to rescue her, he is compelled to come face to face with forces he thought he had left behind.
