Bloody clash in Maharashtra over distribution of water from well for fields, 3 dead, 4 injured

A big news has come from Osmanabad-Dharashiv district of Marathwada, Maharashtra. In Vashi tehsil of the district, 3 people lost their lives while 4 others were injured in a fight between two groups over distribution of water from the well to the fields. This incident happened in Bavi village of Vashi tehsil of Dharashiv district. The incident of assault is said to have happened late on Sunday night.

This fight took place between two rival groups of Pardhi community. Last night in Bavi village of Vashi taluka, three brothers, Appa Kale, Sunil Kale and Vaijnath Kale, living in Pardhi Basti, had a fight over filling water in a well. In this incident, three people were killed and four people including a woman were injured. Dharashiv Police is investigating this incident.

Clash over water supply in fields

In fact, in a village in Dharashiv district, three people died and four others were injured in a clash between two groups over distribution of water from a well for the fields. Police gave this information on Monday. Police have detained 10 people in this connection.

Dispute regarding water supply from well

The police officer said that the people involved in the incident, which took place in Bavi village on Sunday night, were distant relatives who were embroiled in a dispute over the supply of water from a common well. Members of both the groups attacked each other with wooden sticks, sickles and knives, resulting in the death of Appa Kale (65), Parmeshar Kale (22) and Sunil Kale.

Police detained 10 people

The police officer said that the injured were taken to the hospital, where the condition of one is critical. He said that two separate cases have been registered at Yermala police station under sections of the Indian Justice Code for murder, causing grievous hurt, rioting and other sections. The officer said that the police have detained 10 people and are investigating further.
