West Ham are eyeing up Graham Potter as a potential replacement for Julen Lopetegui, whose future has been placed in fresh doubt following another heavy defeat away to at the weekend.

While a final decision around Lopetegui's future has not yet been made, fresh talks between Potter's representatives and have been held in the past 24 hours.

Spanish coach Lopetegui only took charge of West Ham in the summer but a squad that has seen more than £100m of investment is loitering in the bottom half of the table. They face Aston Villa away in the on Friday night.
