"Our team was immediately made aware of the fire at the Touro Medical Office building, located at 3525 Prytania St. across from the main hospital, at approximately 3:30 p.m. today. We are currently assessing the situation and investigating to determine the cause of this fire," the hospital said. "As always, our priority remains the safety of all our patients and staff. Everyone has been evacuated out of the building, and the fire has been contained. We’re thankful for the quick response by the New Orleans Fire Department in helping contain this fire and keep all our patients and personnel out of harm's way.
