Bollywoods most admired power couples is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Despite being married for 33 years they continue to set relationship goals. The two tied the knot in 1991 and will celebrate 34 years of marriage this October. Despite Shah Rukh being Muslim and Gauri being Hindu their different religions have never caused issues in their lives. Recently a photo went viral on the internet claiming that Shah Rukh Khan had asked Gauri to convert to Islam during a visit to Mecca. The picture shows Gauri Shah Rukh and their son Aryan Khan reportedly performing Umrah at Mecca. However the real story is quite different.
A post on Instagram with a deep fake photos of Shah Rukh Khan Gauri Khan and Aryan Khan claimed that SRK has converted Gauri to Islam and the family has gone to Mecca to celebrate new year. Mecca is the holy place of the Muslims. The fake pics show Gauri wearing a black burqa posing with SRK and Aryan in white kurta pajama. In another pic Gauris outfit changes to white. Well there is no truth about the pictures and the Khan family has fallen prey to Artificial Intelligence (AI). A fact check has revealed that the photos are entirely fake and are AI-generated.
Shah Rukh Khan had visited Mecca earlier but not recently. After wrapping up the shoot of Dunki in Saudi Arabia he traveled to Mecca. He was spotted performing Umrah in the holy city dressed in an all-white outfit. In the original photos King Khan was also seen wearing a mask to protect himself from the COVID-19 pandemic.
