Ajmer. Police have arrested the entire gang from the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. A 27-year-old bride and her three fake relatives have been arrested. The bride married a young man named Dhanraj living in the Madanganj Kishanganj area in September last year. Just 7 days after the wedding, the girl fled with the jewellery after poisoning the entire family. A case was registered four days ago after this incident and the police arrested the entire gang last night.
Police said that Dhanraj, who lives near Balaji temple, was married to Sudha Singh. Sudha is originally from Jharkhand but has been living in Haryana for some time. This marriage was arranged by 47-year-old Harilal Kumawat, who lives in the capital Jaipur. Sudha's relatives also included Usha Gautam, a resident of Delhi, and Birsa Munda, a resident of Assam. All of them together had already taken about 1 lakh rupees in the name of marriage.
Dhanraj got married on 1 September. Immediately after the marriage, the girl left the house in the name of meeting the family. She returned after three-four days and on 8 September, she committed a crime in the house as per the plan. She fed poisonous food to the family. After eating, husband Dhanraj Vaishnav and his parents fell unconscious. They remained unconscious till the next day afternoon.
The family kept trying to bring Sudha back on their own, but she refused to come. Now the family filed a report in the police station on January 4 and the police caught the whole gang. These people were again looking for a new groom. They were going to commit fraud with him.
