Ingredients for making date barfi
500 grams dates
1 cup milk
2-3 tbsp ghee
50 grams dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios)
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp coconut (grated)
How to make date barfi
To make date barfi, first wash the dates and remove the seeds.
After this cut it into small pieces. Now grind the chopped dates in a mixer and make a smooth paste.
If the paste is thick then add a little more milk to it. Then heat ghee in a pan.
Now add date paste to it and cook well on low flame while stirring continuously.
Then when the paste starts thickening, add finely chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder to it.
Also mix coconut powder.
After this, when the mixture becomes thick and completely set, take it out in a plate and spread it with a spoon.
Now sprinkle coconut powder on top. Then let it cool completely.
Now just cut it as per your wish and enjoy.
