680 Indian soldiers deployed for the security of 67 Pakistanis, why did Rajasthan Police have to provide security?

A group of Pakistani pilgrims reached Ajmer at around 3.30 am on Monday morning to participate in the 813th annual Urs organized at the Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Strict arrangements have been made by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan for the safety of these pilgrims. More than 680 armed soldiers were deployed especially at the railway station itself.

All these pilgrims were taken in two buses. Here all these pilgrims will participate in the special prayers of Chhati Sharif. According to Divisional Commercial Manager and Fair Officer Vivekananda Sharma, Pak pilgrims reached Ajmer by special train. From here she has been taken to Central Girls Higher Secondary School, Old Mandi, Ajmer. Arrangements have been made for their stay there. He told that last year 232 pilgrims had come to India from Pakistan, but this time their number is only 67.

These pilgrims were brought under heavy security in the Chetak Express train from Delhi to Ajmer. After the train reached here, except two bogies, the rest of the train was sent to Chittorgarh. According to GRP's Additional SP Ramavtar, after security check of all these passengers at the railway station, they have been sent to Kendriya Vidyalaya amid heavy security.

Security circle of 680 soldiers

He said that a total of 680 soldiers have been deployed for the security of the pilgrims. This includes dog squad, GRP, RPF and local police personnel. According to Ajmer SP Vandita Rana, 100 Pakistani pilgrims were to come to Ajmer this time for Urs, but due to some reason only 67 pilgrims have reached here. All of them will participate in Urs from January 7 to 9 and on January 10, they will leave for Delhi by boarding the Ajmer Delhi Shatabdi Express train.

Security arrangements are full proof

He said that the issue of security of pilgrims is always serious. In such a situation, Ajmer Police has also left no stone unturned in their security arrangements. He told that a day before, the police had checked the security arrangements from Ajmer Railway Station to Kendriya Vidyalaya. Their place of stay has also been made full proof. This security arrangement will continue till the pilgrims leave for Delhi. In the arrangements made for the security of the pilgrims, every effort has been made to ensure that they do not face any inconvenience. Along with this, efforts have also been made to ensure that the common man does not face any kind of problem due to their arrival.
