and Princess Kate have helped to revolutionise royal parenting, with both of them taking a very hands-on approach when it comes to the upbringing of their children.
As well as William and Kate also spend time with their three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, at home as they watch TV, play in the garden and cook together.
The couple also moved their children from Kensington Palace in London to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor in an attempt to help
The move also meant that which included their nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, a Norland College trained expert.
While she does not live with the family anymore, Maria is believed to still be an important part of the children's lives after caring for them since they were infants, starting in 2014 when George was just a few months old.
Maria, who is from Palencia in Spain, has been very popular with the family, however there is one word she has reportedly been banned from using in front of the children.
As reported by, Maria is believed to be banned from saying the term "kid" as it is considered to be disrespectful.
Louise Heren, author of 'Nanny in a Book', about her time spent at Norland College while researching for a documentary. She claimed: "The word kid is banned.
"It's a mark of respect for the children as individuals."
Although Maria no longer sees the children all day every day, especially as they all attend Lambrook School, the nanny - who was trained at the esteemed Norland College in Bath - once spent a lot of time with the trio doing activities in a similar way to which William and Kate would. This included playing outdoors, gardening and riding bikes.
It is also believed that Maria as they began speaking and learning words.
, during a farm visit in 2017, the Princess of Wales told well-wishers that Prince George, who was just three years old at the time, could already count to 10 in Spanish.
In 2018, when Princess Charlotte was only two, it was also reported that the young royal could already speak two languages.
