The latest Studio Ghibli trend, where AI generates a popular animated style version of your pictures, has taken over the World Wide Web. From social media users to celebrities, no one has been spared by Ghibli fever. The adorable animated pictures are going viral on the internet; however, there are a few who are not impressed by the charms of this new trend. There is a fraction of people who don’t see the Ghibli art as just a viral trend and are more focused on the repercussions. For instance, singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani sees this trend as nothing but an “AI's plagiarisation of an artist's life's work”

Musical artist Vishal Dadlani, who has always been very vocal about his thoughts on subjects that matter, has taken to his social media to disdain the viral trend. And though he didn’t give into the trend, his fans generated his Ghilbli avatar that appears to have disappointed the musical artist. Thus, he also requested them not to tag him in posts featuring his Ghibli-style avatar.

“Sorry I'm not sharing any of the Studio Ghibli style images you guys have made of or for me. I just can't bring myself to support AI's plagiarisation of an artist's life's work," Vishal wrote in his note shared on his IG story.

He continued, “Not to mention, the environmental horror that those images are. Please do NOT make any more. Thank you."

As aforementioned, the Ghibli trend or the Ghibli fever spared no one. Bollywood’s beloved stars like Kiara Advani, Parineeti Chopra, and even Amitabh Bachchan were seen sharing the Ghibli-inspired pictures.
