Salman Khan is one of the most loved actors in the Bollywood industry. Over the years Khan has delivered numerous hit films leaving his fans yearning for more releases each year. Apart from his professional life Salman Khan often makes headlines for his love life and the sensational romances he has been a part of. Despite dating some of the most famous actresses in the industry Salman remains unmarried. With his marriage being a topic of constant discussion an old interview of his father renowned screenwriter Salim Khan has surfaced online where he revealed why Salman has yet to tie the knot. In an earlier interview with Komal Nahta which has now gone viral Salim shared insights into the reasons behind Salman’s unmarried status. Salim said “Salman ka pata nahi kya hai… Salman ki ek toh is wajah se bhi shaadi nahi hoti hai ki thoda sa contradiction bhi hai Salman ki thinking main (There is a contradiction in Salman’s thinking which is one of the reasons why he’s not married).” He further elaborated saying “Salman ka lagao ya mohabbat… he’s attracted to the person jiske saath kaam karte hain. They are very exciting good-looking people. Interaction hota hai kaam karte karte. People come close because voh close atmosphere main rehte hain. He mentioned that every time Salman enters a relationship or moves toward commitment he starts looking for his mother’s qualities in that woman. Calling his sons approach flawed Salim said that Salman cannot expect an ambitious woman to give up her career to stay at home and be his wife. He further elaborated “Why should one deprive her ki main shaadi karke ghar baitha doonga? Uska vahi hota hai. He added “Jab commitment ho jaata hai toh voh usko convert karne ki koshish karta hai usme apni maa dhoondta hai. Voh toh possible nahi hai (After commitment he tries to convert them and looks for his mother in them. That is not possible).” Salim emphasized that working women especially actresses at the peak of their careers cannot be expected to abandon their professional lives to take on responsibilities like taking kids to school helping with homework or preparing meals.
