The reality show 'Shark Tank India' is in the news for its fourth season. In the very first episode of this show, a heated argument was seen between the sharks and the contestants. Delhi's Gauri Verma had come to the show for her confectionery brand, where she had a debate with panelist Sharks Piyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta. Gauri demanded an investment of Rs 1 crore in exchange for 1% equity, but at the end of the show, during the pitch itself, an argument broke out between Anupam and Namita regarding Gauri's honesty.

Gauri Verma told that she got the idea of cake business when she eloped with her husband in Las Vegas and got married. Then he spent Rs 36,000 on his wedding cake, but it tasted bad. After this experience, Gauri learned everything about cake business and confectionery in five years and she started making fondants and sprinkles. In a few years he prepared a range of 800 products. Then Shark Piyush said to Gauri that “Well, this is a big mistake.” He advised Gauri that she should have paid attention to the perfection of the fondants before taking too much load. However, Gauri did not like this feedback of the shark.

Gauri accepted Namita Thapar's offer

Gauri also said that after a few years she starts getting restless and thinks of starting something new. Anupam Mittal attributed this to Gauri's nature or her behavior and said that it is difficult to trust her in such a situation. Anupam Mittal asked why he thought of leaving the Indian market and investing in America. Then Aman Gupta also said that if there is any problem in the American market then where will she run to. However, Namita Thapar thoughtfully made an offer on Gauri's pitch. He offered 2% equity for Rs 1 crore. He also said that he will have to pay equal attention to both India and America.

Gauri took aim at the shark

When the deal of Gauri and Namita Thapar was finalized, the contestants targeted Piyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal. He said, “FoMO is happening now isn’t it? First of all, if they don't understand anything about cake, then don't give useless excuses. Instead of understanding my pitch, they were giving useless excuses."
