According to reports on Wednesday, 13-year-old Rakhi Dhakre bravely chose to leave her home and become a sannyasini. She has decided to live with her teacher, Mahant Kaushal Giri Maharaj, and devote herself to spiritual activities. She is now known as Sannyasini Gauri Giri.

“Baba Giri is a challenging path,” Mahant Kaushal Giri told the media report. You have to realize, my kid, that you are not yet prepared to assume this duty.” The little girl vehemently disagreed with his assertion, declaring, “I will become a hermit.” She was warned by Mahant Kaushal Giri, nonetheless, that “you still have time to reconsider before the rituals are performed.”

Giri told the media report, “She is carefully analyzing our customs and everyday lives, wondering whether she can fit in with our way of life.

“A man is the master of his wish; is there no freedom in this India?” Giri said. Everyone is now free; India granted everyone such a rule that she has liberated everyone.

A seven-layer security plan is being put in place to prevent any unfortunate incidents during the large religious gathering, according to Inspector General of Police Prayagraj Tarun Gaba.

“Mahakumbh 2025 is the biggest gathering of humanity,” Tarun Gaba told the media report on Wednesday. We are dedicated to making excellent preparations here, and the Mahakumbh celebration ought to be observed in a very secure and well-organized way. Here, we are guaranteeing unbreakable and unfailing security. People will be screened and suspicious individuals will be recognized at various stages as part of our seven-layer security system. Additionally, we are cooperating with several entities, including federal and state agencies.

Additionally, we are attempting to use 2700 cameras in total, including AI-enabled cameras. And we’re doing all we can to make sure Maha Kumbh is completed safely and securely,” he said.

To guarantee the safe and orderly execution of Mahakumbh 2025, Uttar Pradesh Police, led by Deputy Inspector General of Police Vaibhav Krishna (IPS), began an extensive checking campaign on Tuesday.

Over 45 crore devotees are anticipated for the celebration of the Mahakumbh, which is being held after a 12-year hiatus. Devotees will assemble at the Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers converge, during the Mahakumbh to take a sacred bath that is said to atone for sins and bring about moksha (freedom). On February 26, the Mahakumbh will come to an end.

On January 14 (Makar Sankranti), January 29 (Mauni Amavasya), and February 3 (Basant Panchami), the Kumbh’s principal bathing ceremonies (Shahi Snan) will be held.
