Food delivery aggregator Swiggy on Thursday launched the 'Swiggy Serves' initiative. Its aim is to reduce food waste and fight the problem of hunger. Under this program, Swiggy will collect leftover food from its restaurant partners and distribute it among the needy. Swiggy has partnered with the volunteer-run organization Robin Hood Army (RHA) for this initiative.

Giving information about the new initiative, Swiggy Food Marketplace CEO Rohit Kapoor said, "Currently Swiggy Serves scheme is running in 33 cities. We are planning to take this initiative to more cities. Its purpose is that no food is wasted."
