After much hype, Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, released in theatres on January 10, Friday. However, hours after its release, the film fell prey to piracy and got leaked online on several illegal movie streaming websites.According to a report in Times Now, Game Changer has been leaked online and is now available for streaming as well as for downloading on mobile phones and computers. The full HD version of the film is reportedly put up for downloading on notorious torrent websites such as Tamilrockerz, Filmyzilla, Movierulez, Telegram and more.Several key moments from the film have also been leaked online by fans who watched the film in theatres on social media.The makers are yet to issue an official statement on the fiasco.Game Changer marks Ram Charan's first solo release after four years, his last film being SS Rajamouli's RRR with Jr NTR. Directed by S Shankar, the film shows Ram Charan in dual roles -- one as an IAS officer and the other as a spirited individual who flights for the social cause. Kiara Advani is seen as his love interest in the film.The plot takes a turn when SJ Suryah enters as a corrupt Chief Minister, setting up a tense face-off with Ram's character, who calls himself 'unpredictable'.The film tackles themes of corruption, justice, and fight for change, and it has been garnering praise from the audience.This is not the first time that a film has fallen prey to piracy. A few days ago, the Malayalam film, Marco, got leaked online and actor Unni Mukundan then requested people to stop the chain of spreading the pirated version of the film. "Please don’t watch pirated movies. We are helpless. I am feeling helpless. Only YOU can stop this. By not watching/downloading the films online. It’s a request (sic)," he wrote.
