Trying to decide what to have for can be a real struggle sometimes.

You want something that's going to fill you up, but not so much that you won't be hungry for dinner.

And if you're working, whether that's from home or from the office, quick or on-the-go options can sometimes be limited - especially if you're looking for a option.

However, for those of us pushed for time at lunch who still want something delicious, then one could be just the thing you're looking for.

, who often shares cooking videos with her 27k followers, says these are the 'best noodles ever' - and even better, they're ready in just 15 minutes.

She described it as the 'perfect quick work-from-home lunch' but you can also prepare it a few days in advance and have it ready to go, so you don't need to cook every day.

Combining fresh such as onion and broccoli with a couple of cupboard staples like soy sauce and sesame oil, it's an affordable and speedy dish that Faye reckons will become your 'new go-to'.

Here's everything you need to make this recipe at home.

15 minute noodles

Ingredients

  • Half a head of broccoli
  • Half an onion
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sesame oil
  • Light and dark soy sauce
  • Chilli crisp
  • White wine vinegar
  • Rice noodles

Method

First, prepare your vegetables by chopping up the onion and broccoli into small pieces. Put your rice noodles on to boil too, as per the packet instructions, draining and rinsing them just before they should be done.

Then heat some oil in a pan and add the onion and broccoli, sauteeing for a couple of minutes.

Add your noodles and season with salt and pepper before adding a touch more water so the noodles don't stick together.

Pour in a dash of sesame oil - Faye didn't use any measurements but urged people to 'measure from the heart' - along with some light and dark soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and a teaspoon of chilli crisp.

Stir everything together for a couple of minutes until most of the water - but not all - has disappeared. Then, simply pour your noodles into a bowl and you're ready to serve.
